Stress management
The workshop stress management is for everyone who has a personal and/or professional interest in learning to deal with stress. For example as a result of difficulties at work or in the private environment, as well as stress as a result of shock trauma or crisis. The objective of this workshop is gaining knowledge and understanding of the ways that stress can affect body and mind.
In this workshop you will learn to recognise the signs of stress in an early stage. Subsequently we will look at the strategies you developed in life to deal with stress. These strategies might work; however, they sometimes might work against you. We will teach you to deal with stress in various ways other than your usual strategies. We will provide you with resources that generate a wide spectrum of ways to handle stress. We pay extra attention to the issue of safety. We will teach you to look at the way you interpret reality when stressed and how this can effect you.
